BitTorrent Live，提供现场直播流媒体服务，为广播源包括个人和组织减少终端基础设施成本，增加广播范围。这款测试版产品使用与 BitTorrent P2P 大体积文件传输相同的方式来进行信息分享。BitTorrent 创始人 Bram Cohen 在近期采访中表示，他在这个项目上已经用时三年之久。

BitTorrent 没有使用第三方传输媒介，其直接在广播源和最终用户间建立连接。Bram Cohen 表示，广播一般情况下只有五秒钟延迟。而用户所需要做的仅仅是在其网页浏览器上提前安全 BitTorrent Live 的插件。
