CentOS7下GitLab跨大版本升级的方法

备份&升级

在升级前一定要做好备份，记录自己当前gitlab-ca的版本号。

查看当前gitlab版本号

在目录/var/opt/gitlab/backups/下会生成一个备份文件如：1552552057_gitlab_backup.tar，其中1552552057即为此次备份都版本号。


还原备份（失败）

升级Gitlab（注意：由于升级不能跨越大版本号，因此只能升级到当前大版本号到最高版本，方可升级到下一个大版本号）

16:27 生成的tar包是我手动执行备份命令生成

16:49 生成的tar包是yum更新版本自动备份

依次执行下面指令逐步升级，在每一步安装成功后如果发现界面500，不可访问，那么执行gitlab-ctl reconfigure指令刷新配置文件。（一定保证数据可以正常访问方可执行下一步升级指令）

yum install gitlab-ce-8.17.8-ce.0.el7

yum install gitlab-ce-9.5.9-ce.0.el7

yum install gitlab-ce-10.0.0-ce.0.el7

yum install gitlab-ce-10.8.0-ce.0.el7

yum install gitlab-ce-11.3.0-ce.0.el7

查看当前版本号
